It is a self evident fact that you were born a natural non-smoker. 

Something just went wrong along the way, and perhaps for a good many years. But whether you have been smoking 5 years or 50 years the therapy session is designed to help you become a natural non-smokers before you leave. 

Stop Smoking Sessions take place in a conversational manner for the most part. 

It couldn’t be easier!

In fact there are two parts to the session:

1 The Talking Bit

During the talking bit we have a conversation. You tell me a bit about yourself. When, where and why you started smoking. We have a discussion about why you want to give up. We talk about smoking, and the mythical power of nicotine. We shall also discuss some of the tricks the brain plays on us, and think about some of the problems that you might predict as a result of stopping. 

We also have a good chat about all the benefits of smoking, and what you look forward to once you have stopping.

2 The Hypnosis Bit

The hypnosis bit is the part that most people look forward to. It is the time when you get to close your eyes, stop thinking for a bit and simply rest. It’s really easy. Most clients ask if they snored because they think they might have fallen asleep. But hypnosis isn’t sleep and you aren’t “under” in any sense. Hypnosis is not like being “under anaesthesia”. In fact if the fire alarm were to go off, you’d probably be through the front door before me.

2a) a BWRT® Alternative

For 99% of clients I use hypnosis to stop smoking. However if for any reason hypnosis isn’t suitable then I am also a BWRT® Practitioner trained in the BWRT® Stop Smoking Protocol. This works just as well via Zoom as in person.

If you are a Vaper and you wish to stop vaping then the Stop Vaping Sessions are very similar to the Stop Smoking Sessions.
